Announcement


#1. Dear Member of ACPA,

We would like to inform you that ACPA will organize a dinner/reception
at the convention hotel on the night of Tuesday, November 13, 2007. In
addition to cash bar, we also have meals made for us. We expect many
people from Asia to join us so please come to look after your old/new friends.

Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Vincent Lee, Editor of Pharmaceutical
Research and Chair of Department of Pharmacy at Chinese University of
Hong Kong. Dr. Lee has a distinguished career at University, Industries and
FDA. His topic will be “Realignment of the Pharmaceutical Universe: What
Does it Mean for You and Me?”

I encourage you to attend the dinner and RSVP to this message so we
know how many of you are coming. We currently have capacity for only 100 people
and need an indication from you to see if we need to enlarge our group.

Legacy and Innovation in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and
Medicinal Herbs: Bridging the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western
Medicine (WM)

Purposes: Promote the development and internalization of Traditional
Chinese Medicine and modernization of Chinese Medicinal Herbs (CMH) and
preparations. Strengthen the bonds between modern science and TCM/CMH.
Build the bridge from Western Medicine and Pharmaceutical Industries to
TCM/CMH to better the life of everyone in the world.
